The unique EasyDens & SmartRef Combo allows you to determine the alcohol content of your finished beer, wine and kombucha directly with an accuracy of 0.5 %v/v, and your liqueur with an unique accuracy of 0.6 %v/v.
Finished beer, wine, kombucha and liqueur are multi-component samples, consisting of many ingredients. These are, among others, water, alcohol, and sugar. Since sugar and alcohol have different influences on density, it is impossible to determine the alcohol content using only density measurement. However, the combination of density measurement, refractive index measurement, and corresponding calculations makes it possible to determine the ABV of your beer, wine, kombucha and liqueur within seconds.
For your beer, kombucha and hard seltzer:
Use the Brew Meister mobile app for the direct determination of the alcohol content in beer and kombucha. Navigate to the section "Measure" and select between beer or kombucha to measure the ABV of your samples.

The determination of kombucha is suitable for kombucha samples between 0 to 7 %v/v.
Measurement screen of beer:
The EasyDens & SmartRef Combo determines additionally the original gravity (%w/w) and the real extract (%w/w) of your sample. Depending on the beer style you can choose between two preset formulas - one for standard beer and one for strong beer. You can switch between these calculations directly on the measurement screen or subsequently in the batch.
Standard beer: OG: 1.044 - 1.065
Strong beer: OG ≥ 1.065
For your wine and cider:
Use the Wine Meister mobile app for the direct determination of alcohol content in wine. Navigate to the section "Measure" and select Measure ABV to start the ABV measurement.
The determination of the alcohol content is suitable for different wine samples between 1 to 15 %v/v with an accuracy of ±0.5 %v/v. Samples below 1 %v/v or above 15 %v/v can be determined with an accuracy of ±1 %v/v. Additionally, the EasyDens & SmartRef Combo determines the total extract in g/L.
For your liqueur:
Use the Proof Meister mobile app for the direct determination of the alcohol content in liqueur. Navigate to the section "Measure" to start the ABV measurement of your samples. The determination of the alcohol content is suitable for different liqueurs between 10 to 50 %v/v with an accuracy of ±0.6 %v/v. This application does not work for cream liqueurs containing dairy cream such as Baileys.
After the ABV measurement, you can save the result directly to the desired batch, where it can be found in the "Recent ABV measurements" section.
