ABV Beer:
EasyDens is specialized in monitoring the beer brewing process.
How is this possible?
For ABV measurement of beer, an additional reference is needed. You measure the original gravity (specific gravity before fermentation) and the final gravity (specific gravity of your brew during/after fermentation). From there, EasyDens does all the necessary calculations for you and provides an estimation of the ABV of your beer. This is only possible due to specific formulas that are valid for beer brewing activities only. The relevant calculations are based on equations available in the literature and are also applied when using a traditional hydrometer.
If you want to know the approximate ABV of your brew, please select Specific Gravity or °Plato as measurement unit in the Brew Meister app.
Please note that you cannot measure ABV of beer directly. (E.g. bottled beer sample). The knowledge of the original gravity is mandatory for these calculations.
