Filtering your samples before the measurement is not mandatory, but recommended.
Large particles (> 1 mm) can clog the inlet and the outlet of your EasyDens. A customary coffee filter can be used to remove larger particles from your samples.
Remember to always subject your samples to the same treatment in order to ensure comparability and reproducibility.
