Determine the estimated alcohol content with EasyDens or SmartRef during fermentation
To determine the estimated alcohol content during and after fermentation you can use either EasyDens or SmartRef. Measure the original gravity (OG) and the final gravity (FG) of your brew. Once these values are saved and selected in the batch, the alcohol calculation is done automatically for you in the app.
Important to know:
When using SmartRef for OG and FG measurements, wort and alcohol correction is necessary! These corrections are done fully automatically by the Brew Meister app.

Measure the alcohol content of finished beer with EasyDens and SmartRef Combo
If you have the EasyDens and SmartRef Combo, original gravity (OG) and final gravity (FG) measurements are not required. By combining EasyDens (density measurement) and SmartRef (refractive index measurement), the ABV of finished beer can be directly determined with an accuracy of ± 0.5 %v/v.
