Winemakers can estimate the potential alcohol content of finished wine based on the sugar content of grapes. This is a useful prediction to verify if the grapes are ready to be harvested or not. In the Wine Meister app, you can select between two units for potential alcohol determination (based on Brix or Oechsle).
If you choose the Potential Alcohol Brix unit, you can additionally customize a correction factor between 0.50 and 0.70 in the Wine Meister app settings.
